Saturday, April 24th to Sunday, 25th, 9am-3pm: Tales of Our City Historical Walking Tour @ Evergreen Cemetery

Tales of Our City is an annual tour of Evergreen Cemetery featuring entertaining stories of Jacksonville history. The tour is presented by the Port of Jacksonville and Orange Park Pilot Clubs. Proceeds from the tour will benefit the Jericho School, the Clay County Council on Aging and other community service projects of the two clubs.

Visitors to the tour are requested to use the cemetery Main Gate entrance.

Tours run continuously from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and last approximately two hours.

Aside from the interesting tales, you’ll also be dazzled by the beauty of Evergreen Cemetery’s spectacular grounds, with its Arboretum-like setting. Visitors to the tour are requested to use the Main Gate entrance at Evergreen Cemetery, located at 4535 N. Main St. Tours run continuously Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and last approximately two hours.

Tickets will be available throughout the Jacksonville and Orange Park area. Donations for tour admission are $10 in advance, $12 at the gate, and $4 for children under 12.
